On 20 February 2025, Ms. Asdariah, a pharmacist from the Drug and Poison Information Unit, was invited to share her knowledge and experience on the Dangers of Pesticides with farmers at the MARDI Training Complex, Serdang.
Approximately 20 selected participants from across the country took part in this 3-day, 2-night programme. During the session, participants were exposed to the dangers of various types of pesticides, how to identify registered and unregistered pesticides, and the appropriate actions to take in the event of poisoning.
