National Poison Centre Highlights the Safety of Traditional Health Products on Selamat Pagi Malaysia.

On July 16, 2025, representatives from PRN, En Azaharudin Awang Ahmad (Head of the Toxicology Laboratory) and Puan Asdariah Misnan (Pharmacist, Drug and Poison Information Unit), appeared on RTM TV1's Selamat Pagi Malaysia. They discussed pressing issues related to traditional health products in Malaysia, highlighting concerns about items not registered with the Ministry of Health (KKM). The discussion included cases of poisoning linked to traditional products handled by the Centre, explained the Centre’s involvement in tackling these challenges, and offered advice on choosing reliable and safe traditional products.
