PRN recently reaffirmed its role as a premier training hub for the Ministry of Health (MOH) by hosting Dr. Shahrol Abd Wahil for an intensive subspecialty attachment in Environmental Health Toxicology. Held from January 19 to 30, 2026, the two-week program utilized a hybrid approach, beginning with a week of virtual learning followed by hands-on training at the PRN facility. Under the guidance of expert preceptors, the Public Health Medicine Specialist completed the Integrated Health Toxicology Courseware (IHTOC) module, concluding his tenure with a knowledge-sharing session for PRN staff that highlighted his specific field of expertise. This initiative marks a significant milestone in bridging the gap between specialized toxicology research and public health practice, further solidifying the strategic partnership between the PRN and the Ministry of Health.
