PRN Celebrates Legacy of Long-Serving Science Officers at "Majlis Sanjungan Budi Kilauan Bakti" Retirement Ceremony

To honor years of dedicated service and invaluable contributions to the institution, Pusat Racun Negara (PRN) of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) hosted a memorable "Melayu Klasik" themed retirement celebration for Science Officer Encik Rosman Bin Ahmad today at The Bricks, USM. The elegant afternoon affair, running smoothly from 2:45 PM to 5:00 PM under the master of ceremonies Dr. Shalihin and a dedicated organizing committee, was graced by distinguished VIP guests, including PRN Founding Director Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Dzulkifli Abd Razak alongside his wife Puan Sri Masriah, and current PRN Director Yang Berusaha Dr. Nur Azzalia Kamaruzaman. The festive event commenced with a traditional welcome procession complete with bunga manggar and a rhythmic kompang performance, followed by moving tribute speeches, a ceremonial pulut kuning cutting, and a nostalgic retrospective video presentation. The celebrations culminated in the presentation of heartfelt parting gifts, a PRN commemorative plaque, and a surprise PRN Special Award presentation, ensuring a beautifully profound and legacy-honoring farewell for Encik Rosman as he officially concludes his illustrious career.
