PRN Empowers Global Health Experts through IHTOC 2025

PRN successfully concluded the Integrated Health Toxicology Course (IHTOC) and a professional study visit held from September 22 to 26, 2025. This initiative was designed to strengthen the capacity of Low-and-Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) in managing toxicological health issues through innovative micro-credential learning.
The program hosted five international participants representing Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Vietnam. During their attachment at PRN, participants were immersed in the Centre’s operational models, toxicovigilance activities, and cutting-edge toxicology research. Strategic partnerships with NIHR RIGHT 4 and the Ramathibodi Poison Centre were pivotal to the program’s success, with plans already underway to expand the initiative in 2026. The delegation also visited the Emergency Department and Pharmacy Management Unit at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun to observe local clinical practices.
