GEORGE TOWN, July 9 - Continuing its vital role as a key educational authority in tobacco control, Pusat Racun Negara (PRN) contributed expert guidance to the 2026 Timur Laut District Quit Smoking Clinic Enhancement Course held at the Rumah Peranginan Persekutuan Pulau Pinang (Penang Federal Rest House) today.

Marking her fourth consecutive year as an invited expert speaker for the annual training series, PRN Pharmacist Puan Sulastri Samsudin delivered an in-depth lecture titled "Vape and Its Health Implications" to a targeted audience of healthcare frontline professionals, including medical officers, nurses, and dedicated smoking-cessation interventionists from across the Timur Laut district.

During the specialized module, Puan Sulastri provided comprehensive analytical breakdowns covering the evolving typology of electronic vaporizing devices, as well as the intricate chemical profiles found in vape liquids and inhaled aerosols. The session equipped healthcare providers with crucial toxicological insights to better assess, treat, and counsel patients attempting to break free from nicotine addiction in primary care settings.
