STI 100’3 Carnival (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION) 100 Days, 100 Scientists & 100 Schools at Sekolah Kebangsaan Methodist (P), Ipoh, Perak.

In a high-impact effort to inspire the next generation of innovators, SK Methodist (P) Ipoh recently hosted the "100 Scientists, 100 Schools, 100 Days" STI Carnival, a flagship initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. The program brought together experts from Raja Perempuan Bainun Hospital, Kuala Kangsar Hospital, the Institute for Medical Research, and the National Poison Centre to engage 25 students from Years 5 and 6 in an action-packed "Young Scientists Explorace." Participants competed in five teams, tackling laboratory tests and quizzes that challenged their scientific knowledge, while the National Poison Centre specifically introduced its "Toxland Adventure MySafeLab" module to teach essential lab safety through interactive learning. By bridging the gap between professional researchers and local students, this integrated "in-situ" mission successfully fostered a deep interest in science and technology while building lasting strategic collaborations between national health agencies and the school community.
