Students from SBPI Kubang Pasu Gain Insight at National Poison Centre

On August 27, PRN warmly welcomed a delegation from Sekolah Berasrama Penuh Integrasi Kubang Pasu (SBPI Kubang Pasu), located in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah. The visit included around 40 Form 4 students and four accompanying teachers.
During their educational tour, participants learned about PRN’s vital role in managing poisoning cases across Malaysia and observed how contaminants in various products are analyzed at the PRN Toxicology Laboratory. The visit also featured an engaging science and technology talk by Dr. Syazwan Aizat Ismail entitled “Hidden Poisons in Our Surrounding Air,” providing students with new perspectives on environmental health and toxicology.
This outreach initiative strengthened awareness among youths about public health and the importance of scientific inquiry.
