USM Community Fights for Environmental Wellbeing in "Green Steps: Plogging & Brisk Walk Programme"

In a vibrant display of community spirit and environmental stewardship, the "Green Steps: Plogging & Brisk Walk" program was successfully held on March 31, 2026, at Block J and the scenic Tasik Harapan within the USM campus. The initiative, a joint collaboration between the PRN Sejahtera Club, PRN Sustainability Committee, and Kampus Sejahtera, saw participants engaging in "plogging"—a combination of jogging and picking up litter—to beautify the campus grounds while promoting physical fitness. Beyond the immediate impact of a cleaner environment, the event served as a powerful platform for raising ecological awareness and strengthening social bonds among the participants. By merging health-conscious activities with collective action, the program successfully fostered a positive community culture dedicated to long-term sustainability and personal well-being.
