Webinar - Awareness talk entitled “Know the Risk, Act Fast: Poisoning Awareness”

Universiti Malaysia Terengganu’s Young Conservationist Club (YCC) successfully hosted an impactful online awareness session titled “Know the Risk, Act Fast: Poisoning Awareness” on January 15, 2026, drawing approximately 80 students to the Cisco Webex platform. Featuring Ms. Mahiya Nabilla Rosaria from the PRN, USM as the guest speaker, the webinar focused on identifying everyday poisoning risks and equipping participants with essential prevention strategies and emergency response protocols. To foster an engaging atmosphere, the program kicked off with an interactive Slido activity, ensuring students remained active contributors throughout the session. By bridging the gap between professional expertise and student life, the initiative successfully empowered the campus community with the vital knowledge and preparedness needed to confidently handle potential poisoning incidents.
