Workshop Harmonizes Pesticide Labeling Standards

From August 11 to 14, 2025, PRN representatives Asdariah Misnan, Nur Afni Amir, and Cil Mahiya Nabilla Rosaria were invited to attend the Task Force Workshop on Poison Signs and Emergency Treatment Labels at the Institut Aminudin Baki (IAB) in Jitra.

The three-day event, organized by the Department of Agriculture and attended by government agencies and academic institutions, aimed to review, update, and harmonize statements for poison symptoms and emergency treatment on pesticide labels. Discussions focused on aligning label information with pesticide chemical groups, classes, concentrations of active ingredients, and inert substances to ensure clarity and consistency for users and first responders.
